3 trainers suspended, inquiry against instructors ordered | Anti India sloganeering at PTS Kathua | | Early Times Report KATHUA, Mar 19: Police administration taking serious cognizance of the anti India sloganeering during Indo-Pak Cricket Match on Sunday, has placed three trainers under suspension. The action against the three instructors was ordered following news about anti India sloganeering in Police Training School Kathua hit the media. As per reports two trainees namely Constable Imran Habib and Sabir Hussain scuffled over switching off the lights at PTC Kathua. Meantime two trainee constables Aijaz and Arshad tried their best to pacify the duo. The matter was brought to the notice of Instructor Constable Parshotam Singh No. 899/P, SG.CT Muneer Hussain No. 583/IRP 4th and Constable Romal Singh No. 894/IRP 8th Bn. Instructor Constable Parshotam Singh and SG.CT Muneer Hussain failed to handle the issue properly as a result the trainees started protesting against the Staff of Police Training School. Sources said that District Administration consisting of Deputy Commissioner and Sr. Superintendent of Police Kathua rushed to Police Training School well in time to pacify the situation. The injured trainee constables were shifted to District Hospital for First Aid. Later on the agitating trainees went to the barracks peacefully. Meanwhile Farooq Khan, DIG Jammu Kathua Range also rushed to the training centre to take stock of situation. |
