| Soz urges Bhalla to access loss in 'Monday's storm' | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Mar 20: President Jammu & Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee Prof. Saifuddin Soz, MP (former Union Minister) in a statement issued from New Delhi expressing concerns over loss to crops in Monday's storm and requested Raman Bhalla-Minister for Revenue, Relief and Rehabilitation to visit affected areas.
"I feel extremely sorry for the stormy winds that damaged roof tops, electric poles etc in many parts of the Srinagar city and elsewhere last night. Unfortunately many people have suffered hardships, PCC(I) Chief stated in his statement further adding, "after getting the new in I am in touch with state administration.'
He hoped that concerned departments especially the Municipal Corporation Srinagar will get active and mitigate sufferings of the people and restore basic amenities like electricity and drinking water. |
