| Teen aged girl commits suicide | | |

A teen aged girl committed suicide by consuming poisonous substance at her home in Akhnoor area, about 40 kms from here.
Official sources said that a nineteen year old girl, identified as Makhnoo Devi daughter of Girdhari Lal, was found unconscious by her family members at village Rajan in Akhnoor tehsil.
The girl was rushed to Akhnoor hospital, where she was declared brought dead. Police sources told News Agency of Kashmir that the girl committed suicide by consuming poisonous substances.
Police has registered a case and started investigation. Cause of suicide could not be ascertained immediately. |
