PDP migrant wing holds meeting | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Mar 20: The migrant wing of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) held its meeting today to discuss the problems being faced by the members of the displaced community living in Jammu and other parts of the state. While addressing the meeting, speakers demanded that special economic package announced by the Prime Minister for the rehabilitation of the Kashmiri Pandit migrants should be properly implemented. They demanded that this package should be implemented in letter and spirit so that displaced community could be benefit from the same. Members also demanded that cash relief should be increased to Rs 10,000 per month because prices of essential commodities have also increased during the last one year. Ramesh Koul, Ashok Bhat, A K Sidha, R K Pardesi, Veer Ji Jagti, Naresh Koul, S K Raina, Hari Lal Shabji, Kachroo and others also addressed the meeting. |
