Jammu Mar 20: Squall that hit the Rajouri has thrown the normal life out of gear as it uprooted trees forcing people to stay indoors. The squall started last late night and is still continuing snapped the power supply across several areas of Rajouri.
The concerned authorities are assessing the situation and problems caused by the gale. Due to this heavy dust storm visibility on the roads is very low and drivers were forced to face problem in driving.As per sources power supply to Dhanidhar, main city and several other areas remain effected and officials of power departments were fully swunged into action to restore power supply. However there are no reports of any loss of life. |
