| Sparsh India felicitates eminent 'women writers' | | | Early Times Report
Kathua Mar 20: Sparsh India Foundation organized a felicitation ceremony at District Library Kathua to felicitate Sahitya Akademi award-winning Kashmiri poetess Dr Naseem Shafai and renowned International Punjabi poetess Kulwant Kour.
Ex- MLA Basholi Kanta Andotraa chaired by the literary meet while DDC Kathua Zahida Parveen Khan was chief guest on the occasion.Speaking on the occasion Dr Naseem Shafai shared some tips of writing with local writers and young poets.
Meanwhile, senior poetess of Punjabi Kulwant Kour also shared her experience as being poetess.In her address DDC Zahida Khan appreciated the efforts of organization. The program was conducted by Vijaya Thakur while was held under the supervision of Executive Director of Sparsh India Foundation Harjinder Singh and Chairman of the organization Manuj Kesar.
District library and Vivekananda College of Education also awarded Dr. Shafai and Kour. Among prominent luminaries present on the occasion Dr Sudarshan Gupta, chairman of the Vivekananda College of Education, Prof. Indu Kilam, Prof Rachna Bhagat, and many other dignitaries were also present. |
