| Adbi Kunj holds literary meet | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Mar 20: The ongoing 3rd literary and musical multifacets composite meet for the month was held by the front ranking multilingual literary organization Adbi Kunj J&K Jammu, at its literary centre in the premises of New Shastri Memorial Higher Secondary School, Talab Tillo, Jammu. A large number of various literary stars participated in this literary galaxy from the different parts of the state, which was presided over by a well known Hindi poet, Rajeshwar Bhakhari, where as an eminent Urdu and Kashmiri poetess Darakhsan Indrabi, was the chief guest of the meet. Ved Upal, a renowned musical personality, conducted proceeding of the meeting. In his welcome address, Sham Talib, President of the organization thanked Darakhasan Indrabi and other respected literary figures for the visit on that occasion.
He informed the participants that Adbi Kunj Jammu will be organizing a special literary function cum musical meet and multilingual mushaira on the eve of Shahidi-Diwas, on 25th of March 2012 at 3pm in its literary centre in the premises of New Shastri Memorial Higher Secondary School, Talab Tillo, Jammu.
Darakhasan Indrabi also informed that her latest Kashmiri poetic book will be released on 24-03-2012, Saturday at 4 p.m. at K.L. Sehgal Hall, in Cultural Academy, Jammu premises.
The meet came to end with the vote of thanks, presented by K.L. Dewana a senior activist of the organization. |
