| 2 killed in accidents, one commits suicide | | | Srinagar, Jan 23
At least two persons were killed in the separate road accidents in valley, while, a women committed suicide in Anantnag area of south Kashmir.
Official source told News Agency of Kashmir that a TATA Sumo bearing registration No: JK03A/5377 was on its way from Srinagar to Anantnag when it hit and injured one Zaina wife of Abdul Rehman Mir resident of Donipura at Sangam. The injured was rushed to hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.
In a similar other accident, sources said that a Tipper Bearing Regt No; JK01G/5031 hit and injured Ghulam Mohammed Khandey son of Gul Khandey resident of Sebdan Budgam, near Hotel Management institute Srinagar, under the jurisdiction of police station Rajbagh. The injured was shifted to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
Meanwhile, One Meema Akther daughter of Gh. Mohammed Malik resident of Danew Kandi Marg consumed some poisonous substance and was brought to District Hospital Anantnag in critical condition.
Sources told News Agency of Kashmir that the she expired in hospital. Police has initiated inquest proceedings under section 174 CrPC. |
