early times report POONCH, Mar 20 : Goods worth over Rs 1.59 crore through 34 trucks was traded between J&K and Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK) along the Line of Control at Chakan-Da-Bagh crossing point here, officials said. As many as 25 trucks rolled out from Trade Facilitation Centre (TFC) at Ranger here to POK today, they said, adding these trucks carried bags of chilli, onion, potato, banana, coriander and tamarind worth Rs 73,78,476. From PoK, nine trucks carrying bags of almond, dry grapes, dry dates, keenu, herbs and Peshawari sandal crossed to this side, worth Rs 85,87,267. The officials from both the side monitored the transportation of these goods at Chakan-Da-Bagh crossing point twice during the day from 1300 hours to 1330 hours and 1630 hours to 1700 hours, they said. |
