YAIKS's hunger strike enters into 8th consecutive day | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Mar 20: Hunger Strike/ Protest of Kashmiri youth held under the aegis of Youth All India Kashmiri Samaj (YAIKS) at Press Club, Jammu entered into 8th consecutive day today. Speaking on the occasion Pt R K Bhat said Dharna will be continuing till it reaches to its logical conclusion. He said unless 1500 pending posts out of 3000 posts under GOl sponsorship is not being implemented from the merit list already prepared by recruitment agency and the fresh advertisement for next 3000 posts under State Govt sponsorship they will continue to stir Meanwhile during meeting with Chief Secretary Madav Lal in his office Chamber Civil Sectt where a deputation of protesters was called, the delegates apprised the authorities with their demands. The meeting was also attended by Principal Secretary B. B. Vyas. According YAIKS spokesperson MLAs and political leaders namely G A Mir, Hakjm Mohd. Yaseen, M Y Tarlgami, Pir Mansoor Ahamad, Sartaj Madni, Harsh Dev Singh and others have supported their struggle. The protesters also acknowledge gratitude to Vijay Bakaya for his personal intervention in Assembly by raising the issue before the Revenue Minister. Pt. R. K. Bhat again appealed to Chief Minister of State for their personal intervention and action: Kp leaders namely Prof. A. N. Sadhu President KP Sabha, Ashok Gupta President Shiv Sena J&K, H. N. Jattu President AIKPC, Dr. R. K. Bhat, D. N. Bhat, Kuldeep Pandita of JK Thinkers Fourm, also joined protestors today. |
