| APPLE KIDS celebrates annual Day | | | early times report
JAMMU, Mar 21: Apple Kids, today celebrated its Annual Day Function for the academic year at Police Auditorium. Divisional Commissioner Jammu Dr. Pawan Kotwal was the chief guest on the occasion and Dr. Chand Trehan Approved Counselor CBSE, DAV & AEWS was the guest of honor.
The function commenced with the lighting of ceremonial lamp by the Chief Guest. The program began with Saraswati Vandana and children presented dances depicting various festivals of India. Colour-ful items like Barbie Dance, Rain Dance enthralled the audience and Tabla presentation by UKG student Hasrat Singh marked the occasion. The children from age group 2 to 5 ye-ars held the audience spell bound throughout the function and the confidence exhibited by the young children was applauded by the audience.
While appreciating the colour-ful presentation of children Chief guest said, that the preschool activities and playway method of teaching not only instill confidence amongst the tiny toddlers but also help the children to develop their language skills at a fast pace. He congratulated the management & teachers for the success of the show and the wonderful performance and the overall grooming of the children.
Dr Chand Trehan said that she was happy to see the confidence amongst the children which is just a humble beginning and the sky is the ultimate limit for them. She said that the Play schools prepare children for the bigger school, instilling self-confidence and independence in them. All rounders for the session were presented trophies by the Chief Guest. The function ended with a vote of thanks by Veena Aswal Principal of the school |
