DPN supports passage of shrines and temples bill | | | early times report JAMMU, Mar 21: Jammu Kashmir Democratic Party Nationalist (DPN) an allied partner of coalition govt has appealed all political parties irrespective of in opposition or in govt to come forward on single platform for passage of Hindu Shrines and temples bill on the pattern of Sikhs and Muslims religious Boards for the protection and management of age old shrines and temples in kash-mir valley in the ongoing session legislature. According to a press statement, it was observed in meeting when every political party whether from Kashmir or Jammu speaks for the return of displaced Kashmiri Pandits to valley in a dignified manner but they observe silence on steps taken process in Confidence Building Measures (CBMs) for their dignified return. "Vote bank politics is more preferable than the concern of displaced persons. Most of the people from valley in favour of passage of this bill and DPN hails the conduct and efforts of party president and Agriculture Minister G.H.Mir for tabling this bill in the ensuing session of legislature for consideration, it added. The statement said that DPN also appealed to Chief Minister and Revenue Minister for their kind intervention in tabling this bill. Among present in the meeting included Adv Tejinder Singh General Secretary ,Ravinder Sharma Secy Youth, Sanjeev Rakwal Distt. President Jammu, Adv.Zulfikar Malik, Arun Sanson DPNSV Vice President, Sunil Verma, Rajeshwar Bakshi and others. |
