YAIKS continues its protest against Govt | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Mar 21: Protest of the unemployed Kashmiri Pandits (KP) youth against delaying of implementation of remaining components of Prime Minister's Employment Package and Cabinet Decision entered 9th day under the banner of Youth All India Kashmiri Samaj (YAIKS) at press club Jammu. During their protest they were also addressed by MLA Baramulla and senior leader of People's Democratic Party (PDP) Muzzafar Hussain Beg who applauded their role during the past and made them confident of his full support to their fight. The community leaders were appealing to all the MLA's and MLC's of the ruling alliance and in opposition to raise the issue of implementation of Cabinet decision in the house announced seven month long back and implementation of remaining components of PM's employment package in ongoing Assembly Session. RK Bhatt, president, YAIKS, appealed to the chief minister for his personnel intervention into the matter so that the youth of the community may be compensate to some extend for their survival. He said that their main demands include the immediate implementation of the Cabinet decision about filling up of 800 de-reserved posts and 700 other posts which remained unfulfilled in the last list and advertisement of the remaining 3,000 posts under state sponsorship with five years age relaxation. He warned the government that in case the government is failed to issue the final appointment order in favour of unemployed KP youths the YIAKS will go to any extend for which the responsibility will be on the government. Others who were present at the occasion included A.N. Sadhu, Shiban Dudha, H.N. Jattu, R.K. Bhat and D.N. Bhat. |
