| Kathua students participated in massive rally | | | Early Times Report
KATHUA, Mar 22 : The students of Rajiv Gandhi Memorial College of Education, Kathua participated in a massive rally on March 22 , to create awareness about the need to save water and to protect the forests.
Early in the morning, the students of the college assembled at Shahid Bhagat Singh Park where Dr. R K Chopra, CMO Kathua, S. Manohar Singh prominent political leader of Kathua, some faculty members and students expressed their views to prevent the misuse of water and the need to plant more trees.
The rally was flagged off by Dr. R. K. Chopra and S. Monohar Singh in the presence of Anu Dogra Chairperson, Pankaj Dogra Trustee, Dr G P Sachdev, Principal and the faculty members. Carrying placards in their hands, students of the college enthusiastically raised slogans and distributed pamphlets to create awareness among the members of the society.
The rally terminated at the campus of the college.
