| CJ laid foundation of District Court Complex Doda | | | early times report
DODA, Mar 22- The Chief Justice of High Court, Justice F.M. Ibrahim Kalifulla along with Justice High Court J&K, Justice Muzaffar Hussain Attar today visited Doda and laid foundation stone of District Court Complex at Doda which will be constructed at an estimated cost of Rs. 1207 lakhs through JKPCC.
District Development Commissioner Doda Farooq Ahmed Khan , Principal District & Session Judge, Chief Judicial Magistrate , SSP Doda Mr. Arif Rishu, President Bar Association Doda, prominent lawyers, District Officers were also present on the occasion.
Addressing a gathering including Judges and Lawyers, the Chief Justice impressed upon the legal fraternity for adopting speedy and hassle free procedure for disposing of the cases. The Chief Justice said that the need of the hour is to provide justice to the needy and poor people of the society at their doorsteps and stressed that the Judicial Officers should come up to the expectations of the common people. He said that common masses have great expectations from the Judicial Officers for speedy disposal of their long pending cases in the courts of the State. Referring the foundation of the District Court Complex at Doda, Justice Kalifulla said that it was a long pending demand of the area which has been fulfilled and the people particularly the litigants of the area will get speedy and inexpensive justice at their doorsteps. Earlier Justice Kalifulla visited Legal Aid Centre, Assar and interacted with the Sarpanches/ panches and people of the area. |
