early times report POONCH, Mar 22 : Cross-LoC businessmen today traded goods worth over Rs 1.54 crore through 43 trucks between J&K and Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK) along LoC in Poonch district, district officials said.As many as 37 trucks rolled out from Trade Facilitation Centre (TFC) at Ranger in Poonch district of J&K to PoK today, they said, adding these trucks carried bags of chilli, onion, banana and potato worth Rs 95,69,661. From PoK, six trucks carrying bags of almond, dry grapes, keenu and herbs crossed to this side, worth Rs 59,03,278. Officials from both the side monitored the transportation of these goods at Chakan-Da-Bagh crossing point twice during the day from 1245 hours to 1315 hours and 1630 hours to 1700 hours, they said. |
