| BSWA organizes a day long cultural programme | | | early times report
JAMMU, Mar 22 - Gujjar Bakerwal students welfare association (GBSWA) organizes a one day cultural programme in general Zorawar Singh Auditorium, in collaboration with department of Urdu university of Jammu.
On the occasion graced the occasion with his presence, vice chancellor Professor Isher was guest of honour. Other dignitaries which includes MLA darhal Ch. Zulfkar special guest, Dr Javid Rahi, and Abdul Ghani Kholi, Zulakian Chow-dhary.
The programme started with the welcome note of Prof. Shoaib Anayat Malik HoD Urdu followed by the traditional ritual Rasm-e-Pagdi. Following guest were honoured by putting turban on their head viz. Jb. Mian Altaf, Jb Taj Mhidin, Dr. Shahid Iqbal, Mohd Sayeed, Adv Shah Mohd Ch’ Shahnawaz Choudhary Various artist which incl-udes Bashir Mastana, Ayaz Ahmed Saif, Yousaf Arma Noor Jehan.
Speaking on the occasion president GBSWA Tallib Hussain highlight many demands of students stage is conducted by Ishtiaq Ahmed Choudhary and vote of thanks by Sheraz Chou-han.
The main aim of organizing such programme is to showcase the rich heretage, culture of this community & various problem being faced weather at social, economic or political point.
