| YAIKS relay hunger strike enters into 10th day | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 22: Kashmiri Pandits on going Hunger Strike/protest which entered 10th Day today under the aegis of Youth All India Kashmiri Samaj (YAIKS) led by Pt R K Bhat President YAIKS and Member Apex Committee for Migrants at Press Club, Jammu.
Muzafar Hussain Baig, Former Dy Chief Minister along with other PDP Leaders including A R Veeri MLA, Mushtaq Ahamd MLA, Khalid Band MLA, Zahoor Mir MLA, Murtiza Khan MLC join today visited the hunger strike venue.
Baig while addressing the protesters gave a brief about the compulsions to KPs for leaving Valley in 1989. He and his collogues present in the Dharna assured for total support to the problems of KP in general whether in opposition or in Govt.
Meanwhile protesters also had expressed gratitude to all those legislatures for their personal intervention in the on going Assembly Session by raising our demands in the House viz. Gaffar Safi, G. A. Mir, Mohd Yusaf Targami, Peer Mansoor Ahamad, Jugal Kishore Sharma, Hakim Mohd Yaseen, Balwant Singh Mankotia, Vijay Bakaya and others.
The Protesters in an appeal to Chief Minister, and Revenue Minister of the State for their personal intervention now and its implementations on the basis of issue raised by many Legislatures in the House. They said now there is no scope to the Govt. for any excuse or further delay for the implementation our demands. |
