Net crime refers to the uneven exploitation of internet which is strongly got a position in a modern world. It's an Offence that are committed against individuals or groups of individuals with a criminal motive to intentionally harm the reputation of the victim or cause physical or mental harm to the victim directly or indirectly, by the using modern telecommunication networks such as Internet (Chat rooms, emails, SMS/MMS) and mobile phones. However, we also need to think about protecting the Internet from kids who might abuse it. We should be conscious about this crime because who knows when and how these criminals try to make us victim of their sources. We must be the concern of cyber law that's the way to get some safeguard from it and to control on cyber crime and its harmful effect on nation the IT Act 2000 attempts to change outdated laws and provides ways to deal with cyber crimes. We need such laws so that people can perform purchase transactions over the Net through credit cards without fear of misuse. The Act offers the much-needed legal framework so that information is not denied legal effect, validity or enforceability, solely on the ground that it is in the form of electronic records. |
