A new threat to society
Touseef Iqbal Butt3/22/2012 11:19:48 PM

A new
source of
crime to the society become a serious threat which is the easiest way to make havoc anywhere in world. It is such crime which is done by computer and by a networking system. To stay connected with the world for bulwark we often use the fastest source of world that is internet.
The computer may have been used in the process of a crime, or it may be the target for to settle the crime. Net crime refers to the uneven exploitation of internet which is strongly got a position in a modern world. It's an Offence that are committed against individuals or groups of individuals with a criminal motive to intentionally harm the reputation of the victim or cause physical or mental harm to the victim directly or indirectly, by the using modern telecommunication networks such as Internet (Chat rooms, emails, SMS/MMS) and mobile phones. Networking no doubt is the developmental instrument for any nation to run for the post modern world but law bakers uses it for the crime world. The problematic thing is what for the nation and world as a whole that in such crime children (Kids) are getting involved very faster. Reports of alleged computer crime have been a hot news item of late. Especially alarming is the realization that many of the masterminds behind these criminal acts are mere kids. In fact, children no longer need to be highly skilled in order to execute cyber crimes. "Hacker tools" are easily available on the Net and, once downloaded, can be used by even novice computer users.
This greatly expands the population of possible wrongdoers. Parents, teachers, non-profits governments, and industry have been working hard to protect kids online. However, we also need to think about protecting the Internet from kids who might abuse it. Cyber crime is one of the invisible wars against the nation and there is a fear of loss of ethnicity and cultural binds in a social framework. Cyber crimes may threaten a nation's security and financial health. Issues surrounding this type of crime have become high-profile, particularly those surrounding cracking, copyright, child pornography, and other such things which damages the national integration and its strength.
There are also problems of privacy when confidential information is lost or intercepted, lawfully or otherwise. Cyber crime is a fraudulent and an offence which can be delt as a strictly under the law. It's a networking fraud which any dishonest misrepresentation of fact intended to let another to do or refrain from doing something which causes a big loss. Cyber crime is a categorized as a target which attacking the computers of others like the spreading of viruses is a simple example of this act. The computer is like a weapon for using a computer to commit "traditional crime" that we see in the physical world (such as fraud or illegal gambling) and it may be use an accessory - using a computer as a "fancy filing cabinet" to store illegal or stolen information. Nationally and internationally, both governmental and non-state actors engage in cyber crimes, including financial theft, making a common man a victim by sending mails in their inbox, spams and other cross-border crimes.
Activity crossing international borders and involving the interests of at least one nation state is sometimes referred to as cyber crime. This is not the limitation of cyber crime because it crosses the barriers of limitations to the extent of Drug traffickers which are increasingly taking advantage of the Internet to sell their illegal substances through encrypted e-mail and other Internet .Technology. Some drug traffickers arrange deals at internet cafes use courier Web sites to track illegal packages of pills and other material which could be harmful for the state and its new generation. This crime is standing on the first in the list of terrorism where it affects a lot nationally and internationally. Cyber terrorism in general, can be defined as an act of terrorism committed through the use of cyber system. As the today's fact that we are always in a fear of terrorism no one knows a simple propaganda in the Internet when and where can work, that there will be bomb attacks can be considered cyber terrorism? Cyber crime have also seen in the banking world where the cyber theft uses this for to control over the banking system from his room and making bank a victim of cyber Bank Crime. We should be conscious about this crime because who knows when and how these criminals try to make us victim of their sources. We must be the concern of cyber law that's the way to get some safeguard from it and to control on cyber crime and its harmful effect on nation the IT Act 2000 attempts to change outdated laws and provides ways to deal with cyber crimes. We need such laws so that people can perform purchase transactions over the Net through credit cards without fear of misuse. The Act offers the much-needed legal framework so that information is not denied legal effect, validity or enforceability, solely on the ground that it is in the form of electronic records.
