| Warm and rousing reception accorded to MLC Jugal Kishore | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 22: Amid drumbeats and sloganeering, Congress Member Legislative Council (MLC) Jugal Kishore Sharma received a rousing reception at Reasi where he stepped for the first time after being elected for the Upper House of the State Legislature. Jugal Kishore accompanied by his wife Sunanda Sharma and senior Congress leaders of District Reasi and District Udhampur including Brij Mohan Sharma, District Congress president Udhampur, Ashwani Khajuria, Pritam Singh, District Congress president Reasi, Ajeet Kumar Kesar was accorded a grand reception at various places enroute Reasi.
After reaching Reasi, MLC Jugal Kishore along with his supporters passed through the main bazaars of Reasi town where a large number of people garlanded him and offered sweets to him and his party colleagues. A large number of people had gathered to receive him in and around Reasi town amid beating of drums and raising slogans like "Indian National Congress, Sonia Gandhi, Ghulam Nabi Azad, Jugal Kishore zindabad".
Speaking on the occasion, Jugal said he will leave no stone unturned in mitigating the problems of the people of the state.
He said the party has given me this responsibility to serve the people of the state particularly the people of Reasi and his priority will be to come up to the expectations of the people of the area and the party leadership. |
