| Bhim Singh, Sabir express happiness over confirmation of Justice Khan | | | JAMMU, JAN 23 Minister for State for Revenue Mr. Prem Sagar Aziz while replying to a point raised by Mr. B. A. Naaz during Zero Hour in Legislative Council today informed the House that a Committee headed by Financial Commissioner with Divisional Commissioners as its member has been constituted to look into the matter. Mr. N.A. Mir raised the issue of nutrition provided to the students living in gujjar and pahari hostel while Mr. P. Namgiyal raised the issue of computerization of Revenue records and S. T. S. Wazir demanded replacement of old electric conductors in Satwari area. Prof. Bhim Singh and Mr. Lal Mohammad Sabir referred to confirmation of Mr. Justice B. A. Khan as Chief Justice of J&K High Court and expressed their happiness. Mr. Ghulam Nabi Lone demanded improvement of power supply in Chadoora constituency while Mr. M. S. Panditpuri raised the issue of irregular power supply in Kupwara district. He also demanded early submission of House Committee report constituted to look into the matter of illegal appointments in Custodian Department. Mr. Abdul Gani Vakil demanded regularization of ISM doctors engaged since long on contractual basis in far-flung areas while Mr. B. A. Lodhi demanded wages and regularization of candidates engaged in social forestry department. Mr. Nizam-ud-Din Bhat drew the attention of the government towards recruitment process and demanded review of the policy and Mr. A. R. Takroo raised the issue of stagnation of employees serving in ICDS projects. Mr. Mohammad Iqbal Bhat demanded rent for the buildings occupied by security forces in Doda district while as Miss. Sakina Ittoo demanded action taken report on points raised during the zero hour. She also demanded enhancement of wages for volunteers engaged under Educational Guarantee Scheme and payment of rent for buildings acquired for these centers.
