| State beach volleyball team leaves for nationals | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Mar 23: A five-member state team, including coach, Sajad Hussain, today left for participation in the XIII National Beach Volleyball Championship.
The competition is being organised at Behind Anna Square Beach in Chennai from March 27 to March 30 by Marina Beach Volleyball Club, Chennai under the aegis of Volleyball Federation of India.
Earlier, before their departure, the team called on incharge Secretary State Sports Council, Kiran Wattal. He blessed the team for success in the competition ahead.
Among others present were office bearers of Volleyball Association of J&K, HS Gill and Romesh Sharma.
The Team: Sushil Sharma, Imtiaz Ahmed and Swarn Singh.
