| "Haadsa Haqeeqat" highlighted tale of broken identities | | | early times report
Jammu, 23 Mar : Nav Durga Kala Manch produced play "Haadsa Haqeeqat" was staged at Abhinav theatre here on Friday. Starring Anil Kotwal, Komal Kalyan, Komal Parihar, Dilshad Shazi and Tatvagya Bhargav, written by Vikram Sharma and directed by Shashi Bhushan the play was well received by the audience. "Haadsa Haqeeqat" is part of Cultural Academy's annual drama festival 2012. The path-breaking stage drama focuses on identity crisis and its repercussions on contemporary life.
The search for identity of the lead actor in the play benefited enormously from an identity crisis the character had as a young man though it isn't open about its dilemma. Mixed feelings, broken promises and the attendant uncertainties of life constituted the core of the play. Moderated by Acad-emy's senior drama instructor, Dr. Sudhir Mahajan, "Haadsa Haqeeqat" marked day six of the ongoing drama festival. |
