| Road from Sunanghat to Bari-Ghat under construction | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 23: D K Sharma XEN (Rtd), chairman retired employees union and senior Congress leader Basohli shares pleasure with the people of Sunanghat, Bari-Ghat, Seri-Kund, Kodal, Nagali and Sialag whose cherished demand and dream came true by way of construction of road from Sunanghat to Bari-Ghat under NABARD assistance programme.
This road will cater for about 15,000 souls and facilitate the people by covering about 25 km distance upto Basohli as compared to about 50 km distance via Bhoond to Basohli.
This will save their one full day, half of fare and freight charges. Amid beating of drums echoed this hilly area and garlanding of first mini-bus driver was ceremonised Tej Ram Shah of Bari-Ghat burst into tears with joy showering appreciations to the Chief Engineer, SE, XEN and all the staff of PW(R&B) Div. Basohli. He also thanked the union members such as S.K Chowhan, Harnam Singh Billowria Lt.Col(Rtd), Dhanter Singh, Ved Mankotia, Amrish Sharma, Jagdish Brahmey, Ashwani Sharma and others. D.K Sharma also extended his thanks to NABARD authorities for financing the project through PW(R&B). He had a word of praise for CE, SE, XEN, AEE and JE who were associated with this project. |
