| Five day short term course concludes | | | early times report
Jammu, 23 Mar : Five day short term course organized by Government College of Engineering & Technology, Jammu in collaboration with national institute of Technical Teachers Training & Research Chandigarh concluded at College New Campus. During the course Professor S S Pattnaik from Nittter delivered a series of lecturers and deliberated on the basic concept of Artificial Neural Networks, optimization Technique like GA, PSO, BFO, Mastics and their applications in various disciplines of engineering fields. Professor Parveen Lehna, Department of Physics and Electronics, University of Jammu also delivered a series of lectures on ANN, Fuzzy logic and Fuzzy based system whereas G.D. Yadav from Nittter conducted the Matlab activities during the course. Valedictory function was presided by Principal GCET in which Professor Lehna, was the chief guest whereas Professor Patnaikk was special guest. During the valedictory function GCET, Professor Bhopinder Singh thanked the resource persons and advised the participants to make use of soft computing techniques in their research activities, the function was also addressed by participants namely, Dr. Jyoti Mahajan and Ajay Abrol. Certificates of participation were distributed on the occasion. |
