Minister's son detained after drunken brawl in Leh | | | Early Times Report Leh, Mar 24: Skarma Stanzin, the son of State Tourism Minister Nawang Regzin Jora and Narboo Tashi, the son of Tsering Dorjey, the former chief executive councilor of the Leh Autonomous Hill Development Council, had a drunken brawl in the town Saturday afternoon. As the drunken duo engaged in attacking civilians the police intervened to bring them under control following which a police constable was also injured by the drunken youths. Both were finally overpowered and detained in the police post at the Leh housing colony. Elders of the town moved in to work out some compromise, but the police has been advised to follow the law of the land against the two youths. The two youths were seen heard abuses at the police as both were totally inebriated. |
