| 1 held with illegally felled taali wood | | |
RAJOURI, Mar 24: A tractor-trolley driver was yesterday apprehended by
police on Barevi road near Dharamsal here after he was found carrying
illegally felled taali wood.
Police sources identified him as Rakesh Kumar, son of Hans Raj of Chhani,
Sunderbani.
The tractor-trolley and the wood were seized and the accused was booked
under sections 638 and 16 of forest act, the sources added.
Sources said the seizure was made by Dharamsal police on a tip-off provided
by a source.
Somre more arrested were expected in the case, the sources added.
