| Follow up consultations given to cancer patients | | | EARLY TIMES
Jammu, Mar 24: The world renowned Oncologist, Dr. Ashok Vaid will be giving follow up consultation to the cancer patients, examined by him at monthly free medical camps through video conferences to be organized by Jammu Yatri Bhawan Trust, every week.
Dr. Ashok Vaid Chairman Institute of Oncology Medanta–The Medicity, Gurgaon, has been giving free medical checkup and consultation to the cancer patients, in the free medical camps being organized by JYBT.
The holding of weekly video follow up consultations, was announced jointly by Dr. Ashok Vaid and Pawan Shashtri, President JYBT, at 22nd free medical camp organized by Jammu Yatri Bhawan Trust, here today.
In today’s camp 95 patients suffering from cancer related ailments were examined by Dr. Ashok Vaid.
For follow up video consultation, the patients should contact Dr. Deepak Abrol, Oncologist in Govt. Medical College Jammu or the Jammu Yatri Bhawan Trust. Free medical camps organized by Jammu Yatri Bhawan Trust are held every month, at the spacious residential premises of Pawan Kumar Shastri, President Jammu Yatri Bhawan Trust.
Dr. Ashok Vaid, the son of soil, has been rendering free service to the people of Jammu, by visiting here every month to give free checkup and consultation to the cancer patients. Dr. Deepak Abrol, a doctor in Oncology department of Government Medical College Jammu and Archina Choudhary, working in SKUAST, Jammu are regularly assisting Dr. Ashok Vaid, in his humanitarian and benevolent venture.
Pawan Shastri discloses that gradually full fledged outdoor health facility centre is being setup by Jammu Yatri Bhawan Trust, fully equipped with X-ray equipment, Ultra-sound and other necessary aids.
