| Imposed tax on gold should be revoked | | | Early Times Report
KATHUA , March 24 : Akhil Bhartya Sang unit Kathua and urged upon the union Government to revoke the imposed tax on gold.
The Kathua Gold Smiths said that they are not much qualified and not having other sources of income in order to survive so the union Government action to hike the tax on gold is not in the favour of welfare of Gold Smith Community.
They said that the gold is the treasury of Indian culture which is associated with everyone and no function is believed to be completed without the involvement of gold.
They also said that before the hiking of tax on gold, the union Government must conduct the awareness camps to spread the awareness about the advantages and disadvantages of hiking tax on the gold.
They said we Gold Smith melt the gold into so many forms as per the choice of customer and they take only their labour so the union Government should take serious notice to the hiking of gold tax in order to the welfare of common people and the Gold smith.
