| YSS protest against JKCA | | | JAMMU | JAN 23
Yuva Shakti Sena held a protest demonstration against the discrimination done by JKCA towards the future of budding player in front of M.A. Stadium here today.
In the protest demonstration, they alleged that JKCA creating hurdles in the promotion of cricket in the state. They also alleged that it is only due to factionalism in the association that Ranji Trophy One-day matches shifted from here to Punjab. They said that JKCA has become a money-minting organisation and is working only for their personal interest. The selection trials is just fraud and selection of players is not fair. The audit report should be prepared well in time so that players can’t suffer more.
They demanded that JKCA body should be dissolved and new body will be made with honest personalities so that we can boost the morale of the players.
While addressing, Yash Pal Khajuria, President said that if no action taken towards the association we will start mass revolution and dharnas. He also said that chief minister and sports minister should take initiative in the matter to uplift the cricket in our state.
Others who were present include Ranjit Singh, Ravinder Singh, Sunil Gupta, Sanjay Gupta, Vicky Singh and Ravi Sharma.
