Yuva Hindi Lekhak Sangh marks 81st ‘Martyr's day' | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu Mar 24: Yuva Hindi Lekhak Sangh, Jammu organized a programme to mark 81st 'Martyr's day' of Sheed Bhagat Singh, Raj Guru and Sukhdev at Prof Gyanchand Memorial Hall, Urdu Department, Jammu University. Noted theaterist and musician Raj Kumar Behrupia and others read various citations for the martyr by Paash, Jinnah, and other prominent icons in first session. The second session of the programme under the series, Vasant Ke Harkare, focused on noted poet and Columnist Manoj Sharma. It was presided over by Former secretary Jammu and Kashmir Academy for Art, culture and languages Ramesh Mehta. Manoj Sharma was also felicitated by organizations on being chosen for central Hindi Directorate's President's award. Kamaljeet Chowdhary read paper on the writings of Manoj Sharma and this was followed by the poem recitation by Manoj Sharma.
