| IR-11Bn distributes stationary items to poor students | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU MAR 24: IR-11th Bn Miran Sahib Jammu today organized a programme under Civic Action at Govt Boys High School Simbal, Miran Sahib, in which various useful items viz Uniform / School Shoes/School Bags/Notebooks and other study material were donated to the poor and needy children.
The uniforms and stationary items were distributed to poor and needy students of Govt Boys High School Simbal, Miran Sahib, Government Middle School Nandpur, Miran Sahib and Government Primary School Sajadpur, Miran Sahib.
The officers of IR-11Bn, Principal of the schools besides prominent citizens of the area spoke on the occasion who also appreciated the role and the steps taken by the Police department towards the welfare of poor/downtrodden students.
Ravinder Singh, SSP Commandant of the unit in his address gave details of the programme and the objectives/steps taken by the Police Department under civic Action programme on various spheres for close police /public coordination and the betterment of the society. The officer stressed upon the gathering to take full advantage of these programmes.
