| Soz, Chib inspected Sports Stadium | | | Early Times Report
SRINAGAR, Mar 25: Member Parliament, Saif-ud-Din and Minister for Medical Education and Sports, R.S. Chib today conducted tour of Sheikhpora area of Budgam district where a Ssports Stadium is coming up.Chib on this occasion said that sports infrastructure would be strengthened in district Budgam. He said work on Sheikhpora stadium would soon be taken in hand. The Minister on this occasion announced that a cricket tournament is being organised in Sheikhpora Budgam on April 15 in which 16 teams of the area would participate. The Minister said that government is providing cricket kit, uniforms and other facilitates to the participants.Later, a youth delegation met Member Parliament and Sports Minister and put forth their demands. The Minister assured the delegation that their genuine demands would be addressed on priority. Delegation from Sheikhpora also interacted with the Minister and put forth their grievances.The Minister assured them that government is working for providing all the basic amenities to the people.
