| Pingla Mata Yatra commences from Ramnagar | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Mar 25: Pingla Mata Yatra takes off today from Jammu for Ramnagar Tehsil, Udhampur where the temple is situated which is taken out by Ashwani Singh a devotee from Janipur. On the occasion MLA Jammu East Ashok Khajuria along with other senior BJP leaders welcomed the yatra at Panjtirthi. Speaking on the occasion, Khajuria said that as the Yatra is organized every year and a large number of devotee participate for seeking blessing he impressed upon the government to extend all possible assistance to yatris for smooth flow of pilgrimage. He also assured that he would take the matter to Tourism Department for raising adequate infrastructure at the revered shrine, particularly a dormitory and community kitchen besides other public conveniences for the pilgrims. He further said that the shrine needs to be brought on the tourist map of the State so that the revered cave shrine may attract tourists. |
