| NMC hails decision to release 7 per cent DA | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Mar 25: National Mazdoor Conference (NMC) President appreciated the release of the pending 7% DA for the central employees and pensioner welcoming the decision of union cabinet while demanded same for state employees expecting state government to take similar step at earliest. NMC president Subash Shastri said that state government should release the installment of DA in favour of its employees and pensioners so that they can cope with the sharp hike in prices of essential commodities and inflation.
As per a hand out he demanded the regularization of daily wagers working in Rural Department and various other departments for more than seven years. He further said that daily wagers should get salary regularly so that they may not face difficulty to feed their families. While addressing the rally he exuded confidence in State CM Omar Abdhulla hoping for fulfillment of their demands at earliest. |
