| Neta Ji remembered on 110 th birth anniversary. | | | JAMMU | JAN 23 110th birth anniversary of Neta Ji Subash Chander Bose was observed through out the region. In a function organized at Mahesh Pura Chowk by Neta Ji Sdubash Chander Bose Volunteer Organisation under the chairmanship of its president Chander Mohan Sharma and Vinod Sharma. Vice president of the organization of the organization S Surinder Singh Sangari was also present on the occasion. A large number of people from all walks of the life participated as a gesture of respect to the great leader of Indian Freedom Struggle. Floral tributes were given around the statue of supreme commander of the Indian National Army. On this occasion a freedom fighter Chain Singh was also present who worked with Neta Ji. While speaking on the occasion he said the real tribute to this visionary would be to follow the path shown by him. He also stressed upon the relevance of Neta Ji sloagan in the present time as many dreams of the freedom struggle are yet to be achieved. Among others who were present on the occasion include National Conference leaders Ajay Sadhotra, Mushtaq Ahmed Bukhari, Sajjad Ahmed Kichloo Chaman Lal etc. Similarly, the J&K Freedom Fighters Association celebrated the birth anniversary of Neta Ji with great fervor and enthusiasm at Neta Ji Park, town hall where a large number of people came to pay tributes to the national hero. BL Gupta and Ved Gandhotra organized the function. On this occasion students of the New Modern Higher Secondary School performed various cultural programs. The speakers threw light on the life and work of Neta Ji and wished that had the leaders of present time followed the path of Neta Ji, the country would have relieved from the menace of corruption, poverty, nepotism and favoritism. Meanwhile Duggar Pradesh Party organized a similar function at the party’s headquarter to commemorate the 110thbirth day of Neta Ji Subash Chander Bose and 6th foundation day of the party. While addressing the party functionaries, president Udey Chand said that Indian leadership is betraying the country and is complicating the existing problems. Meanwhile, General Secretary, S Inder Pal said that state and central government have totally failed to restore peace in the valley. Others who spoke on the occasion include Varsh Suri, Kuldeep Singh Charak, Mangal Das and others. On this occasion a resolution was passed by the party leaders that they will continue their struggle for the separate Duggar Statehood. Also Congress Seva Dal leaders and workers gathered in the Pradesh Congress Head Quarter to pay rich floral tibute to the great revolutionary, under the chairmanship of Balwinder Singh Sambyal.
