| RDS to hold District Chess Championship in May | | | Early Times Report
Udhampur Mar 25: The Jammu and Kashmir Rural Development Society Udhampur will be conducting 15th District level open Chess Championship.
Addressing a press conference here today Chairman District Rural Development Society Sat Paul Sharma declared that the society is going to organize 15th District level Open Chess Championship and inter school open dance competition in the memory of Late Sheikh Mohamed
Abdullah from 7th of May in the premises of Goverdhan Palace Udhampur .He added that the chess championship will be held in five categories under 14 boys, under 14 girls , under 19 boys and under 19 girls and senior Mens group . He added that all the matches will be played on league basis. He added that the dance competition will be held in open category .
He said that all the interested players are advised to register their names and complete furnish requisite formalities at NGO office near state Bank before 20th of April Sharma said that Dr Mustfa Kamal has been consented to be chief guest on the inaugural day while Mubarak Gul Poltical Advisor to Chief Minister and chairman J&k Rural Development society will distribute prize to winners on concluding day .
