| Devotional Song competition held at Katra v MLC Jugal lit the jyoti | | | Early Times Report
KATRA, Mar 25: In connection with the celebration of holy Navratra, a devotional song competition "Nanay Staray" was held at Katra last evening. MLC Jugal Kishore Sharma who was the chief guest lit the Jyoti on this occasion.
While congratulating the organizer and sponsored of the function, Sharma threw light on the holy Navratra.
In all 23 singers participated in the competition. Kumari Sapana of Katra was adjudged best singer, Aman and Shiku were declared 2nd and 3rd respectively.
Manju Shah of Reasi and Surinder Singh of Jammu singers also gave guest items on this occasion.
Mementoes were given by the chief guest to the winners as well as participants.
Prominent persons of the town, pilgrims in large numbers, Additional SP Katra Mohan Lal, SDPO P. N. Tikoo and SHO Katra Pardeep Katra were present on the occasion. Stage Secretary, Darun Kesar carried out proceeding of the stage and presented vote of thanks.
