The sleepy town came to life as people irrespective of age and gender, the people came out to apprise him of their woes. A calm and composed Azad listened patiently and expressed displeasure over slow pace of developmental works in Bhaderwah constituency.
Azad was shocked to see projects started by him during his tenure as Chief Minister still incomplete.
During his visit to Bhaderwah, Azad held a review of the developmental works in the constituency which he started during his tenure as Chief Minister. The meeting was attended by almost all the officials of the District administration including Deputy Commissioner Farooq Ahmed Khan.
Azad slammed the State government for slow pace of developmental work in Chenab region. "It is very strange that the project which simply required 3-6 months for completion when I left the state in 2009 is incomplete even after 3 years", Azad told the reporters.

The Union Minister was also apprised of shortage of doctors in Chenab region and unanimously demanded appointment of doctors in SDH Bhaderwah and other hospitals across the

Accompanied by MLC Naresh Gupta and MLA Bhaderwah Mohammad Sharief, Azad visited the Sub District Hospital Bhaderwah, under construction University Campus, upcoming hospital building and assessed the progress of ongoing construction work.
