| MLC Shrama conducts two day tour of Nowshera- Sunderbani | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Mar 26: Ravinder Sharma-MLC General Secretary & Spokesperson PCC conducted two days tour of Nowshera- Sunderbani and took stock of problems of people and paid obeisance at Gurudwara Sant Inder Singh Ji (Rekhi Maharaj) also.
During his visit to revered place MLC Sharma was presented a sropa by the Management of Gurudwara. While addressing the Sangat Sharma said that the teachings of Sant Inder Singh Ji (Rekhi Maharaj) should be remembered for peace and brotherhood and well being of All human beings.
Meanwhile responding to the demands of locals for road connectivity to Gurdwara and further to link Nonial with Rajpur Bhata and assured to prioritized road project. "In response to an other demand for facilitating the pilgrimage of Ali Bag Gurdwara of Baba Sunder Singh across LOC," Sharma said and added that Govt of India has always favoured better relations and movement of people for both sides of LOC especially to perform pilgrimage. He assured to take up the issue at the appropriate form to respect the sentiments of people of the area, especially the Sikh community.
Sharma also interacted prominent citizens of Nowshera and visited several localities in Nowshera town. He asked the authorities to take up work like Patel Chowk & Ward No. 2.
Earlier Sharma attended a function at Govt Mddle School Manji Khetar in Tehsil Sunderbani. He also thanked Members of Education fertility incharge ZEO Om Prakash, Head Master Mulkh Raj, SP Suri, KK Khajuria, Nand Lal Sharma and prominent personalities of the area. |
