| Degree College Hiranagar releases college magazine "HIRA" | | | Early Times Report
KATHUA, Mar 26: The third Edition of College Magazine "HIRA" was released at a function held at Girdhari Lal Dogra Memorial Degree College, Hiranagar today.
Dr. V.K. Munshi (Former Principal) was the chief Guest on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Munshi congratulated the Principal Dr. Ram Krishan, the editor Prof. Shalini Rana, Co-editor Prof. Kamaljeet Choudhary and all the Professors associated with the magazine. He said that college magazine provides a platform for young students to express their literary acumen. He impressed on the students that at their age, the mind is highly fertile with imagination and vigor and it is essential to provide opportunities where they can give vent to their inherent feelings, emotions and aspirations.
Principal, GLDM Degree College Hiranagar, Dr. Ram Krishan appreciated the efforts of Prof. Shalini Rana, Prof. Kamaljeet Choudhary and Prof. Sushma for bringing out a colourful and highly informative college Magazine. He appraised the gathering that the college Magazine not only consists of informative and literary articles but it also showcases the activities held throughout the session 2011-12. Prof. Kamaljeet Choudhary, the Co-editor of the magazine recited a poem on this occasion. Among others Prof. Kawaljit Kour, Dr. T.K.Sharma , Prof. Daya Vilas Khajuria , Dr. Neeraj Kumar , Prof. V.K. Chandan , Prof. Balbir kumar and others were also present on the occasion. |
