Govt. in deep sleep over corruption: Om | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Mar 26: Social worker and Anti Corruption protagonist Om Prakash said that government has not awaken from its slumber even after 13 days Dharna by Anna Hazare. The public was also ignorant since 1950. But it has risen to occasion and feels a certain need of Jan Lokpal Bill along with institution of a law on Right to Rejection. He further said such law is required to prevailent entry of tainted and wrong people to enter into Parliament or the Assembly and then only a pious place like Parliament would be cleansed and then only strict laws will be framed and corrupt one will be sent to jails. Om regretted that our leaders in state also makes tall claims but when they enter into Assembly they maintain silence on this vital issue. As such framing of Lokayukta and enforcement of Right to Reject laws in State is very much needed. |
