| Security forces recover arms, ammunition in Anantnag | | | Early Times Report
SRINAGAR, Mar 26 : Security forces today recovered some arms and ammunition from separate places in Anantnag and Kupwara districts of Kashmir Valley, police said. An IED, an AK 56 rifle, nine magazines and 260 rounds were recovered by a joint team of police and Rashtriya Rifles from an open field at Watergam-Nowgam village, about 60 km from here, in Anantnag district, they said. A police party detected a live hand grenade during patrolling at Lone Harie village in Kupwara, 90 km from here, police said, adding that the bomb disposal squad later destroyed the grenade. |
