| APSCC calls for amnesty to 'Rajona' | | | Early Times report
Srinagar Mar 26: All Party Sikh Coordination Committee (AP SCC) Chairman Jagmohan Singh Raina has urged the President of India to grant general amnesty to Balwant Singh Rajoana, who was to be hanged till death on March 31,2012. "Hanging of Rajoana will not solve any purpose, APSCC Chairman stated further adding, "we condemn this hanging, as this has more of political rather than a legal aspect to it. "It's all politically motivated and political party-based politics which is bent upon to drive the people on the basis of religion, regionalism, cast, color and creed," he said. |
