| Youth held for abducting girl | | | early times reprot
JAMMU, Mar 26: A youth was today apprehended by police for allegedly abducting a minor girl from Mahi Chak near Nagri in Kathua.
The girl was also recovered from his possession, police sources said.
Sources said Mohammad Gazi lodged a report with Nagri police post Friday last, alleging that his daughter Zabina Begum had been abducted by one Jarnail Singh, son of Dalip Singh of Rajbagh. Acting on his complaint, police today recovered the girl from Rajbagh area and also arrested the accused who was booked under sections 363 and 109 of RPC.
The girl was taken to hospital where she was medically examined. She was later restored to her parents.
