| In Katra hospital doctors perform seven surgeries in single day | | | Early Times Report
Katra, Mar 27: It is a progressive sign, when doctors are courageous enough to perform surgeries of various kind in a government emergency hospital of holy town Katra.
Renowned (surgeon) Dr. Raj Rishi Sharma, Dr. C.D. Thappa( Anaesthetist) and their team including Dr. Rajan Gupta, Sanjay Kesar (Operation theatre tech.), Yashpal who performed seven surgeries of patients naming Renu (25) w/o Nek Ram r/o Chak Bhagtha (Gall bladder), Raj Bahadur(52) s/o Manmohan r/o Katra( Hernia), Romesh (29) s/o Nanak Chand r/o Panthal (Multiple sucortial cysts), Neelam (35) w/o Ashok r/o Katra and three cyst operations on minors were carried on in a single day.
Relatives of patients termed it as a healthy step on the part of government health department and showed their gratitude on the successful accomplishment of their operations lest they should move to Jammu where a lot of money otherwise would have to be spent on treatment and expenditure on lodging, food besides facing of inconvenience, when one is out of home.
However, when talked to BMO Katra Gopal Dutt, he told that we have been trying our best to conduct surgical operations from normal to complicate like Gall-bladder, Appendix, Hernia, Caesarean/ Normal delivery, Labrolization, NSV in our emergency hospital which was constructed last year only. All is just possible with the daring and relentless attitude of my team of doctors who are leaving no stone unturned to reach upto the expectations of patients. |
