| Kishtwar indebted to Congress: Sheikh Nasir | | | Early Times Report
Kishtwar, Mar 27: Prominent Congress leader and former President District Youth Congress Committee Kishtwar Sheikh Nasir Hussain Advocate criticized theopposition for its misinformation campaign launched against the party and claimedKishtwar was indebted to Congress for fulfilling the long pending demand ofdistrict status. Reacting to the recent statement by the opposition partyleaders, Sheikh Nasir while addressing a meeting of congress workers said that itwas during the Congress led government that Kishtwar was granted districtstatus, a demand which was pending since decades. He also said that even inrecent budget special mention was made of connecting Kishtwar with Rail link. In his address Block President Kishtwar Haji Ghulam Hassan Mir said that Congress is committed for over all development of all the threeregions of state and said that people of Chena bregion have full faith in the party. Vice President Block Marwah Mohd Hussain Akhoon said that itwas only during the regime of coalition government that honorarium and salariesof nambardars, chowkidars, SPOs , HR employees and ReTs were enhanced. |
