| One arrested alongwith 8 Kgs poppy straw | | | Early Times Report
Ramban, Mar 27: Ramban Police recovered 8 Kgs poppy strawfrom a house in Dalwas area of Police Station Chanderkote and arrested onesmuggler. Police said following an tip off that one Mohd Ashraf sonof Saraj Din resident of Dalwas, Chanderkote, is involved in smugglingof narcotic substances including poppy straw. Anil Magotra, SP Ramban, dispatched a police team whichraided the house of accused and arrested him. The team raided the house of Mohd Ashraf and during searches of house of the accused police recovered 8 Kgs ofPoppy Straw from his house. A case in this connection has been registered against theaccused. |
