| BAJ felicitates CJ Kalifulla on his elevation as SupremeCourt Judge | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Mar 27 : Bar Association Jammu organised a felicitation ceremony at Courts Complex, Jammu to felicitate Chief Justice F M Ibrahim Kalifulla on his elevation as Judge of Supreme Court of India.
The function was attended by Justice J.P.Singh, Justice M.Y.Mir, Justice Husnain Massodi, Former Advocate Generals U.K. Jalali, A.H.Naik, D.C.Raina, Reg-istrar General of the High Court, B L Bhat (Special Judge CBI Jammu), A H Wahid Principal Secretary to Chief Justice, Principal Distt. & Session Judge Jammu and Members of Subordinate Judiciary besides Senior Advocates and Members of Bar Association Jammu.
In his address B S Slathia, President Bar Association Jammu appreciated the tenure of Chief Justice F M Ibrahim Kalifulla and congratulated Chief Justice on his elevation to Supreme Court Judge.
S S Lehar, Senior Advocate also spoke on the occasion and lauded the contributions made by the Lord Chief Justice, during his short tenure,in delivering the landmark judgements which shall always be a guiding factorfor all concerned, besides building a vibrant Judicial institution.
Earlier in the onset of the occasion Vikram Sharma, General Secretary, Bar Association Jammu, presented welcome address to the gathering.
Office Bearer of Bar Association Sh.Vikram Sharma (General Secretary) Parimoksh Seth (Joint Secretary), Sandeepa Sam-byal (Treasurer), Designated Senior Advocates and the members of Bar were present on the occasionwhile Adv M U Salaria, Vice President Bar Associ-ation Jammu presented vote of thanks.
The Function was followed by lunch hosted by Bar Association Jammu. |
