PHE workers highlighting demands continue their stir

Jammu, Mar 27: A protestdemonstration was organized by Water Works (PHE) Employees Associ-ation Jammu Provinceat Rural Division, B.C Road Jammu in which various demands of the PHE Emplo-yees were highlighted.
Led by Shiv Kumar Sharma President Indian National TradeUnion Cong-ress (INTUC) & Provincial President Water Works (PHE) Employees Associa-tion Jammu Province the protestorshighlighted their long pending demands.
Speaking on the occasion Sharma said that the poor workersare doing their duties on meager wages and that too they do not get regularly.He urged upon the authorities to release the pay of employees irrespective oftheir engagement at the earliest.
Speakers highlighted demands including Release of thepending wages of CPS workers as per the wages fixed by the government Rs 125/-per day, Release of the wages, Regularize daily rated workers who and havecompleted seven years tenure, rational transfer policy of Class IV PHE Vinod Kumar Sharma, S Charanjit Singh, Raman Kumar andNaresh Kumar also addressed the protestors.
Meanwhile workers continued their agitation in different districtsunder the banner of PHE Workers Welfare Association Jammu Province in support ofthe long pending just and genuine demands of lower cadre employees workersespecially all sorts of daily wagers. Provincial President Th Bakshi Singh and Provincial General Secretary Subash Verma addressing the employees and workersto remain united peaceful and vigilant during the ongoing agitation. They urgedState Government to concede the demands immediately to avod any type of confrontation.
